And club captain Dickson insists he and his team-mates can turn things around against the Top 14 giants.

“Racing are a very good team, but I don’t believe they’re 30 points better than us,” Dickson said.

“We came here to play and in patches we did that very well, but we let ourselves down in ball security.

“When you give 20 turnovers to a team like Racing, they’re going to take five of them.

“They’re a good outfit and they deserved to win, but we’ve got to keep our heads high and move on to next week.

“We’ve been in this position before and the beauty about this competition is that we’ve got another shot next week.”
