Saints set to face Wasps in pre-season friendly

Saints will warm up for the new campaign with a trip to the Ricoh Arena to face Wasps on Sunday, October 4 (kick-off 2pm).

Jim Mallinder’s men have yet to confirm any other pre-season friendlies, but are expected to announce a couple more in the coming weeks.

All games will be away as Franklin’s Gardens is currently undergoing redevelopment, with the new Barwell Stand being built in place of the Sturtridge Pavilion.

Saints begin their Aviva Premiership campaign on Rugby World Cup quarter-finals weekend, travelling to Worcester Warriors on Friday, October 16.

That Sixways clash will be followed by a stadium:mk meeting with Newcastle Falcons eight days later.

Their first game back at the Gardens will be against Saracens on the weekend of November 7.
