Jamie Gibson returns in the pack, taking the place of Michael Paterson, who is among the replacements.

Courtney Lawes moves back to the second row after lining up a six in last Saturday’s 33-3 Champions Cup defeat at Stade Yves-du-Manoir.

Stephen Myler is back in at 10, replacing JJ Hanrahan, who had started the previous two games, while George Pisi comes in for Tom Stephenson after taking a rest last weekend.

The final change comes in the 14 shirt, with Ahsee Tuala, Saints’ two-try hero in last month’s superb win at Glasgow Warriors, replacing Jamie Elliott.

Racing have opted to name an unchanged line-up, meaning New Zealand fly-half Carter will be starting at the Gardens.

The only change in the Top 14 team’s squad comes on the bench, with Marc Andreu replacing Alexandre Dumoulin.
