Saints fly-half Myler fails to make England cut for Six Nations opener
Stephen Myler will play no part in England’s Six Nations opener against France after being released by head coach Stuart Lancaster.
Myler will head back to Saints and could play for his club against Saracens in the LV= Cup at Franklin’s Gardens on Saturday.
Five Northampton players remain in the 26-man squad, though, with Luther Burrell tipped to win his first cap in Paris on Saturday evening.
Dylan Hartley, Courtney Lawes, Tom Wood and Lee Dickson are also likely starters as England look to get their Six Nations campaign off to a winning start.
