Versatile Wilson happy to wing it for Saints

James Wilson would be happy to ease Saints’ wing worries at Saracens on Sunday.
The Kiwi utility back was forced into the action early last Friday night as Tom Collins picked up a hamstring injury in the formative stages of the clash with Exeter.
With Ken Pisi and George North away on international duty, Wilson stepped into the left wing berth and performed admirably, creating a second-half try for Tom Stephenson.
And the 31-year-old, who has predominantly played centre or full-back for Saints, would be happy to be a wide man again this weekend.
“If that’s what they want me to do, that’s what I’ll do,” Wilson said.

“That (versatility) is me in a nutshell throughout my three years here and I’m happy to be a part of it.
“I had a spell on the wing through the winter of a season here and I enjoy being out there.
“Just being part of this great team, I love doing it.”
