Saints 'blown away' by the loyalty their supporters have shown

Saints supporters have continued to back their club financially

Darbon has been delighted with how much backing has been given to the black, green and gold, with 'almost 50 per cent' of last season's season ticket holders already continuing to commit for the 2020/21 campaign.

Rugby clubs up and down the country have been hit hard by the global pandemic, with matches having been postponed since March.

And with uncertainty remaining around when they will resume, especially in front of fans, which seems a long way off, Saints need the support of their loyal faithful more than ever.

"Our season tickets were on sale before the pandemic really took hold and before lockdown was instigated and we've been blown away by the ongoing support we've had from our supporter base," Darbon said.

"Almost 50 per cent of our season ticket holders have already committed to next season despite the uncertainty that surrounds the current year.

"We are so very grateful for that support and in the spirit of transparency the revenue that's generating for the club is absolutely critical at this time.

"We're incredibly grateful and at the same time we want everyone to know that if next season looks different in whatever shape or form when we get to it, we'll obviously work with all of you to make sure your season tickets and the money you've kindly paid for them is dealt with in the appropriate way.

"That ongoing support to help us maintain revenue has been absolutely critical.

"It's amazing talking to the other clubs and we feel more and more blessed with the supporter base we've got.

"We can't say thank you enough for the ongoing support because we certainly need it now more than ever."
