Opposition view: Botica salutes Bordeaux youngsters after 'amazing' win at Saints
Botica kicked three penalties before being replaced by Matthieu Jalibert, whose 74th-minute penalty hit the post, allowing Santiago Cordero to collect the ball and score the winning try.
It was a gritty 16-12 success for Bordeaux, who had been on the back foot for long periods of the game but who ensured Saints would not score a try on the night.
