Of those two, one is a player and one is a member of staff. The player is understood to be from Saints.

Saints have had one player test positive in each of the past three weeks, but it is not clear if it was the same player on all three occasions.

Those who have tested positive and their close contacts isolate and are assessed in line with the PHE-agreed guidelines.

Overall, this week's results were good news for the league as the number of tests increased and the number of positive cases declined.
