Former Kettering scrum-half Will Chudley has agreed a new two-year deal with Aviva Premiership side Exeter Chiefs.
The 24-year-old, who joined the Devon club from Newcastle Falcons in the summer, has made a big impact since his arrival at Sandy Park.
And head coach Rob Baxter is delighted to have secured his services for another couple of seasons.
Baxter said: “Will has come into the club this year and was handed an opportunity which he took with both hands. We liked the way he played at both Bedford and Newcastle and we saw the good parts in his game.
“He has really impressed us in the time he has been here. He’s a good guy amongst the squad; he’s very competitive; he’s a tough cookie and he is always working very hard to improve his game.”
Another product of the Kettering youth system, Brett Sturgess, is contracted to stay at the Chiefs until the end of next season.
