Boros hope to get game on this time

Both Wellingborough and Market Harborough will hope it is third-time lucky tomorrow.

After twice seeing this Midlands Two East (South) derby frozen off, there should be no trouble with the underfoot conditions at Cut Throat Lane this time.

And for both sides, the game is a chance to get back to winning ways after tough defeats last time out.

Wellingborough seemed certain to win at Oadby Wyggestonians, only to be denied by a last-gasp try in the 10th minute of injury-time.

Meanwhile, Harborough were blown away in the first half by leaders Bugbrooke before salvaging some pride after the break.

However, the defeat probably put paid to their play-off hopes, meaning local pride will be the main prize on offer tomorrow.

Boro have kept changes to the minimum in the pack after the fowards in pressed at Oadby with Adam Parker’s return at prop the only alteration.

In the backs, Jack Bryan returns at scrum-half and Andy Seaton switches to full-back while Tom Mair remains at centre.

Rob Owen is on the bench after recovering from a broken ankle.

The seconds are at home to Kettering 3rd while the Vets are at BBOB 3rd.

Meanwhile, Harborough 2nd are at home to Oakham 2nd, the Vets play host to Old Scouts and the Colts go to Lutterworth.
