Pisi and Co have racked up six wins in their opening nine games of this season, sitting pretty in the Aviva Premiership and the Heineken Cup.

Next up is the start of the LV= Cup campaign, with Gloucester heading to Franklin’s Gardens on Saturday.

And Pisi, who joined his team-mates in a team bonding day at Northampton Indoor Karting on Wednesday, says spirits are high.

“There’s a good vibe in the team,” said the Samoan wing. “We’re just looking forward to Saturday.

“Gloucester are in a position where they don’t want to be, but we’re in a position we want to be so we’ll be excited.

“The boys are keen, we’re at home, where we’ve got a good record, so we want to put another win on the board.”

Saints are set to rotate their squad for the clash with the Cherry and Whites as the men who have served the first team so well so far this season are given a well-earned rest.

And Pisi is looking forward to seeing some of the club’s younger stars get their chance in the senior squad.

“There are players who have been playing well for the Wanderers and they can’t wait for Saturday,” said the 24-year-old.

“With the youngsters coming up, we do have a strong squad and we can do the job.”
