He has scored three tries in nine appearances this season and will be looking to carry on his good form in the run-in.

George, who regained his 13 shirt at Allianz Park last weekend, is happy to be lining up alongside his brother and is keen for the pair to push Saints to glory this season.

“It’s good to see little Lionel Ritchie out there again,” George said.

“He’s been playing well and he’s got his opportunity at the moment so hopefully we can play a few more games together again and push the team forward.”

The Pisi brothers’ next challenge comes at Franklin’s Gardens on Saturday, with Sale Sharks the visitors.

Saints were beaten at the AJ Bell Stadium in November, but have not lost at home to the Sharks since May, 2006.

And George said: “They’re a tough team, as we saw when we went up there. We struggled physically against them.

“We usually do quite well against them at home, but it’s a totally different game. They’ve beaten three of the top four teams this year.

“They’re a team that’s on the up and trying to get into the play-off semi-finals, as we are so it will be a physical game.”

While Sale have only lost once during 2016, Saints have won four of their past five games.

And George said: “I think it’s good in a way for us to stay in there and keep playing well because we’re improving and come finals time, hopefully we’ll have an opportunity because we’re playing some good rugby.

“It’s not like last year where we kind of took our foot off the pedal. Come semi-final time we were top of the league and we weren’t playing real tough games.

“Hopefully we peak at the right time and gradually we’re starting to win games and win them well.”
