Dylan Hartley has recovered from a rib injury and will start for Saints in their crucial Champions Cup clash with Glasgow Warriors at Franklin’s Gardens on Sunday (kick-off 5.30pm).

Hartley was unable to take his place on the bench at Leicester last weekend, but he returned to training this week and replaces Mike Haywood in the starting 15.

Tom Wood makes his first start since November, having come off the bench in the 30-27 defeat at Welford Road last Saturday.

Wood is at seven, with Teimana Harrison moving to No.8 in place of the injured Sam Dickinson.

George Pisi returns at outside centre, having missed the Leicester game after returning late from family commitments in New Zealand.

George North, who was at 13 last week, switches back to the wing, with Jamie Elliott dropping out of the squad.

The other change comes in the second row, with Christian Day replacing Victor Matfield.

Jon Fisher is back among the replacements and could make his first appearance since the 26-15 win at Glasgow in November.

Meanwhile, former Saints winger Sean Lamont will start for Glasgow, who hand a first start to Sam Johnson.

Scotland international Alex Dunbar returns from injury to join Johnson in the centres.
