Vucenic, will headline the preliminary bouts on Saturday evening – meaning the fight will be free to watch on Cage Warriors’ website and Facebook page.

Training out of BST Northampton, Vucenic boasts a professional record of five wins and one loss.

Speaking ahead of the fight, the 24-year-old said: “I can’t wait to get in there and show everyone what I can do.

“I’ve been hungry to get back in the cage since that first victory on Cage Warriors. I’ve been given a very capable opponent, who I respect, but this is my time. He’s fought for a title, but that’s old news. I’m next.

“I’m buzzing for it. I asked Cage Warriors to give me a name from the top, and I’ve been given it. I’m ready to hunt down the people fighting for titles.

“I’m going to put Corby and Northamptonshire on the map, and I’d love to see some home town support watching from home on the night – I’m determined to do our county and town proud.”

Vucenic has been fighting professionally since 2017.

He won his first two fights, before suffering his only loss. Since then, he’s had three fights and three wins – including two stoppages.

“Suffering a loss actually helped me,” he said.

“It helped me adjust a few things, and now I’ve got the perfect team around me to build and move forward.

“This is the best I’ve ever felt going into a fight. I feel fresh and ready to go. I’ve changed up my strength and conditioning this time, and it’s really helped.

“It’s time to show how good I really am – it’s time to show my level.”

Jordan’s career is supported by sponsors, which means he can train full-time and put his all into making it to the UFC – something he believes is a ‘when’, rather than an ‘if’ – without these sponsors, it would not be possible to dedicate himself to his training like he does.
