North returns to action for Wales against Ireland

Saints winger George North will play his first game of rugby for more than five months when he starts for Wales against Ireland in Dublin on Saturday.

North has not played since suffering concussion in the process of scoring a try for Saints against Wasps on March 27.

It was the third time he had been knocked out in a matter of months, having also suffered concussion in Wales games against New Zealand and England.

But he is now ready to play again, and has been named in the Wales team for their second World Cup warm-up game against the Irish.

North has passed all the required tests and successfully came through a Wales squad training match in north Wales earlier this month

The Saints ace will win his 50th cap for his country, the 23-year-old becoming the youngest Welshman to achieve that feat.
