North and Corbisiero set for first Saints appearance

The Lions duo have been named on the bench for the clash with RaboDirect PRO12 outfit Edinburgh (kick-off 7.30pm).

Saints have named a strong squad, with Tom Wood skippering the starting side and the likes of Stephen Myler and Lee Dickson also playing for the first time during pre-season.

New prop Gareth Denman, a summer recruit from Rotherham, is among the replacements following his try-scoring debut in the 45-21 win at Bedford last Friday night.

But Kahn Fotuali’i, who starred in that success, Salesi Ma’afu, Glenn Dickson and Rob Verbakel will not be involved.
