Northamptonshire tennis star Alex Ward has been drawn against David Goffin in the first round at Wimbledon.
The 26-year-old was handed a wild card to make his debut at the famous event and will come face to face with the world number 11 in his first game.
Goffin, who played for Belgium in last year’s Davis Cup final, currently sits 233 places above his opponent in the rankings.
Andy Murray will open his challenge to win the Wimbledon title for the a second time by taking on fellow Britain Liam Broady in his opening match.
The tournament gets under way on Monday morning.
