Keith Lancaster has won the Hollowell Sailing Club Frostbite Series.
The final race took place last weekend and, with some of the main contenders choosing not to compete, Rob Dunkley flew ahead in his Blaze to take an early lead.
Barny Creaser, in his Streaker, then took up the battle for second place.
Creaser had to use all his skills to hold off former Commodore, Russell Brayshaw, who made a welcome visit to club, after moving away from the area.
The positions throughout the race remained largely unchanged and finished with Dunkley crossing the line first, followed by Creaser and Brayshaw.
Despite Dunkley’s win in the final race, Lancaster’s lead overall was so great he clinched the series for the second year running.
Simon Cray, who had been challenging hard all season, secured second place and Dunkley gained a well-deserved third place.
Racing at Hollowell continues this weekend with the start of the Snowflake Series.
