Ash Brown scored twice to keep Moulton in the hunt for the Duston Garage (Bosch Service) Premier Division title.

Brown’s goals secured a win for his side over Roade, while a Lee Nash treble, and two from Dan Surridge proved the difference for Harpole against Khalsa.

The wins for Moulton and Harpole keep both sides level on points, but behind leaders Welford on goal difference.

Welford were winners over Weldon.

Blisworth’s title aspirations all but evaporated following a draw with struggling Pegasus.

Ringstead and Nomads also drew, leaving both sides at the wrong end of the table.

Brixworth defeated Milton, while Heyford slumped to a 22nd straight defeat against Stanion.

Duston Garage (Bosch Service) Division One

Jamie Smith proved the difference between Burton and Medbourne netting three to cancel out Dom Williams brace to give Burton victory. The other three matches all ended in draws.

Orchard Park and Everards shared six goals between them. Finedon followed up their first win of the season with another point against Gretton, while Wootton and Ise Lodge finished goalless.

Rothenberger Tools Division Two

The only game of the day saw Grammarians and Daventry Comms draw 2-2.

Pete Doyle took full advantage of some good fortune to score both goals for Exiles in the win over FC Higham.

His first came late in the second half direct from a wind-assisted corner. His second was equally remarkable as he reacted quickest to his own sliced mis-kick that wrong footed the defence and volleyed home.

Duston Garage (Bosch Service) Division Three

Exiles followed up cup success with derby plaudits by defeating Grange Park.

Kai Robinson scored the Titchmarsh winner against Great Doddington, while Joe Corney was the Drayton Grange matchwinner against SPA.

Duston Garage (Bosch Service) Division Four

Johnny Manning was the hero for Desborough & Rothwell United getting the crucial fourth goal against promotion-chasing Park Rovers.

The result leaves Borough Alliance just three wins from the title. Corby United earned a fourth win in five matches thanks to a Pete Davis brace against Kinsgwood. Corby Ravens meanwhile tied with AFC Rothwell.

Duston Garage (Great Wall Cars) Reserve Premier Division

Bugbrooke A gave their title chances a real shot in the arm by defeating leaders Blisworth on their own patch.

Jordan Richards got the only goal for Spencer against Milton to move his side within seven points of the leaders with games in hand.

Roade defeated Moulton to climb the table while Ringstead’s relegation fears were not aided by the draw with Weldon.

The outstanding semi-final was at last completed this weekend with Stanion progressing ahead of Weldon A.

Ian Bell netted two for Weldon, but four from Ian Keenleyside saw Stanion through.

Bugbrooke B remain mired in a relegation dogfight after a derby defeat by Kislingbury.

Heyford moved off the bottom with a draw against Medbourne, earning their first points since February.

Orchard Park are not out of the woods yet either following defeat to Welford.

At the other end of the table Earls Barton’s hopes of overhauling the leaders were dented after a defeat by Old Grammarians. Corby Locos and Everards shared the points with a 3-3 draw.

Gavin Boddington turned in a man of the match performance before settling the tie with the winner for Wollaston Victoria against Redstar.

Buoyed by League Cup success Wollaston ascended the summit after smashing four past long time front-runners Harborough. Lee Warman scored twice. Reece Whitwell scored three as Wilby moved into second spot with victory over West Haddon. Ben Hall scored two for Stanwick in the derby win over Titchmarsh, while Spratton defeated Redstar.

NTFA Gorrell Barnes Cup

Corby Redstar upset higher level opponents Kislingbury with a shootout victory.

Kyle Morgan kept Earls Barton’s treble dreams alive getting the winner against Wollaston. Corby Locos meanwhile saw off local rivals Eagles.

Duston Garage (Bosch Service) Star Award

This week’s winners are Heyford Athletic Reserves who recorded a first point in more than two months by drawing with Medbourne.
