Kettering snooker star Kyren Wilson’s sensational week in China continued as he reached the final of the Shanghai Masters.
The 23-year-old will face world number seven Judd Trump at 7am BST tomorrow (Sunday) morning as he seeks his first-ever ranking title.
Wilson’s brilliant form continued in the semi-finals today as he thrashed world number 10 Mark Allen 6-1 to reach his first ranking final.
Wilson won the first frame on in a black-ball finish before he stormed into a 5-0 lead thanks to breaks of 73, 68 and 60 along the way.
Allen pulled a frame back to prevent a whitewash but Wilson finished the job with a break of 50.
The Kettering man will face Trump, who was a 6-3 winner over Stuart Bingham in the last four.
