Manoa hit double figures in his quest for tries and was nominated for the Premiership Rugby player of the season award.

He was also named alongside Saints team-mates Stephen Myler and Luther Burrell in the league’s dream team.

Manoa picked up his award at the end-of-season dinner on Monday night, with Christian Day, Ethan Waller and Jamie Elliott also in the prizes.

Day was named Saints players’ player of the season, with his team-mates paying tribute to his studious approach to lineouts.

Waller was named young player of the season after a fine campaign that has seen him play a big role at loosehead.

And Elliott, unsurprisingly, picked up the try of the season prize for his sensational effort at Gloucester in September.
