Manoa to miss two Saints games due to USA call-up

Samu Manoa is set to miss two games for Saints in November after being selected by the USA for their upcoming European tour.

The Eagles take on Georgia in Tblisi on Saturday, November 16 before heading to Saracens’ Allianz Park to face Russia on Saturday, November 23.

That will rule Manoa out of Saints’ LV= Cup game at London Irish on November 17 and the Aviva Premiership clash with Newcastle Falcons on November 23.

The big American, who was man of the match in the 41-20 win against Saracens last weekend, is the latest in a long line of players to be called up for international duty.

Saints have seven players in the England squad, while George North is set to turn out for Wales this autumn and George Pisi and Kahn Fotuali’i are ready to represent Samoa.

Vasily Artemyev is another who will be away during November as he will line up for Russia.
