Both players have made a good impression this season, with Fisher a stand-out performer before suffering a foot injury at Scarlets in November.

The former London Irish flanker, who joined last summer following a successful trial, played eight times before being sidelined.

But the 26-year-old, player of the month in September, is on his way back to fitness and could return in the next couple of weeks to add to Jim Mallinder’s options.

Harrison is starting to fulfil the potential he showed after joining the Saints Academy in 2011.

The back row forward played a key role in last season’s Amlin Challenge Cup success and now has 22 Saints appearances to his name.

And director of rugby Mallinder is happy to be able to keep the forward duo at Franklin’s Gardens.

“We’re delighted that both Teimana and Jon will be staying at the Gardens,” Mallinder said.

“Both players have played important roles in their time at the club and we’re confident that they have more to give, both during the run in and for the coming years.”
