Thrapston boss ian Walker believes there will be little between his side and ON Chenecks when the sides meet in UCL Division One this weekend.

After a good win at March Town in the FA Vase, Thrapston will head to Billing Road in good spirits to face a Chenecks side who have made a solid start to their league campaign.

And Walker, whose charges have only played once in the league so far, is looking forward to the clash.

He said: “After our cup exploits we’re looking forward to getting down to the nitty gritty of the league.

“They’ve made a good start with seven points from nine and had an eye-catching result (4-3) at Eynesbury last week and that shows that it will be a good test for us.

“But we had a good win at March where we controlled the game for long periods and it will be a game between two evenly-matched sides.”

Elsewhere in Division One, AFC Rushden & Diamonds will aim to maintain their unbeaten record when they travel to Olney.

Raunds entertain the winless Potton at Kiln Park, Rothwell Corinthians are on the road at Potton and Whitworth host Buckingham.

In the Premier Division, Wellingborough Town, who are still searching for their first points of the campaign, welcome Boston Town to the Dog & Duck.

S&L have a tricky afternoon in prospect as they visit top of the table St Ives, Irchester are at home to Spalding and the in-form Desborough visit Deeping.
