Smith has become Gary Mills’ latest signing as the Corby boss continues a rebuilding job on the squad as they battle for survival in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division.

Mills said: “Jordan is a huge signing for the club. He turned down the chance to join a team in the Vanarama National League North because he can see what me and David (assistant-manager Bell) are trying to build here and is excited about the future.

“He provides another piece of the jigsaw for us and is yet another leader and winner to add to the dressing room. He will be able to help our local younger lads to develop.

“I would like to thank Graham Drury for making the deal happen so professionally.”
