The former Leicester City trainee has made 20 appearances for the Daniels in the Evo-Stik Northern League Premier Division this season and arrives at Steel Park in the wake of Paul Malone’s move in the opposite direction.

Myles joined Stamford from Rugby Town in the summer of 2014 having previously been at Brackley Town.

Now Tommy Wright will be hoping the full-back can play a key role as the Steelmen bid for survival in the Vanarama National League North.

The Corby boss said: “I am delighted Ellis has chosen to sign for us despite having lots of options including teams in our division.

“He is a player we have monitored for some time and know a lot about from his time at Leicester and Rugby.”

Corby were without a game at the weekend but, despite their other relegation rivals playing, they remain just a point adrift of safety ahead of Saturday’s trip to Bradford Park Avenue.
