Corby Town have signed three more players up for next season’s Blue Square Bet North campaign.

Central defender Phil Gulliver has followed new club captain Paul Malone in re-signing for the Steelmen while Corby have also now officially confirmed the arrival of midfielder Lewis Webb.

And boss Ian Sampson has also landed a goalkeeper he knows well in the form of ex-Northampton Town stopper Paul Walker, who also had a loan spell at Brackley Town last season.

Sampson said: “Phil has the experience at Conference North level having played in there for the past few years.

“I see him and Paul Malone as a very good partnership.

“Lewis comes in with a decent reputation and he is in the same mould as Steve Towers, who has left the club. He is a similar player but a bit younger.

“Lewis is a player I know because he was at Peterborough United when I was at Northampton so I saw him play a bit during that time.

“Paul is obviously someone I know and I gave him his first professional contract at Northampton.

“It is very pleasing to get these lads on board for next season.”
