A poor first-half performance saw Corby Town slip to a second successive defeat as they lost 3-0 at Solihull Moors in the Blue Square Bet North.

The Steelmen fell behind in front of a crowd of 198 to Darryl Knights’ neat flick on 13 minutes.

The hosts doubled their advantage through Omar Bogle’s 18-yard shot just before the half-hour and it was 3-0 on the stroke of half-time through Gary Birch,

The Steelmen improved in the second half with Nat Wedderburn inches wide with an effort while Josh Moreman was denied by the goalkeeper after being clean through.

Corby will be looking for their first win of the campaign at Worcester City on Saturday.
