Poppies swoop for midfielder Howell

Kettering Town have completed the signing of experienced midfielder Anthony Howell.

Former Mansfield Town midfielder Anthony Howell has signed for Kettering Town

The former Mansfield Town and Alfreton Town man has joined the Poppies in time to be included in the squad for tomorrow’s (Saturday) clash with Hitchin Town at Latimer Park.

The 30-year-old made over 100 appearances for Mansfield and also played for Alfreton in the National League.

Marcus Law has moved to boost his ranks following Tuesday’s 2-0 home defeat to Leamington in the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division.
