The Poppies had been due to travel to the league's bottom markers tomorrow (Saturday) but after heavy rain in Bradford, an early inspection took place this evening and the decision was made to postpone the fixture.

A statement on Bradford Park Avenue's website said: "Following incessant rain over the past few days and, in the light of the weather warnings issued today and tomorrow, the league sanctioned a Friday pitch inspection.

"Following that pitch inspection by a local referee and bearing in mind the distance that our opponents Kettering will have to travel, an early decision has been made to call off tomorrow’s game."

The postponement means Paul Cox's team haven't played since they drew 1-1 at Altrincham on February 8.

They will now be hoping they can return to action on Tuesday night when they are due to host Brackley Town in the Northants derby at Latimer Park.
