“We have kept the run going but I feel we need to pick more points up at home,” the Diamonds boss said.

“We have drawn too many matches on our own ground.

“There are some tough away games coming up during December, it’s going to be a hard month.

“Our away form has been very good but we have to make sure we start turning those draws we have been getting at home into wins.”

Diamonds return to action tomorrow (Tuesday) night when they entertain county rivals Corby Town in the re-arranged Integro League Cup first-round tie.

Peaks is set to make changes to his starting line-up but he insists his team will looking for a victory with the winners facing a trip to Rugby Town in the next stage.

“It will be another chance for us to get back on track at home,” Peaks added.

“There will be changes to the team to give some lads minutes but we will still be strong.

“It’s a local derby and it’s a game we will try to win.”
