Corinthians remain bottom and without a win in the league this season but they claimed their second point of the campaign with a 2-2 draw at ON Chenecks.

And the Flourmen also secured a share of the spoils as they shared a goalless draw with Sleaford Town at London Road.

There was further frustration for Desborough Town as a late goal meant they were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw with Rugby Town at the R Inn Stadium.

Ar Tarn went in front through Luke Stevens but Rugby found a leveller in the first minute of stoppage-time as Desborough were held to a draw for the sixth time in 11 league matches.

Wellingborough Town, meanwhile, slipped to their fourth defeat of the season as they were beaten 2-0 at Leicester Nirvana.

There were mixed fortunes for the local UCL Division One clubs in the second round of the NFA Junior Cup.

Thrapston Town stormed through with a 7-3 demolition of Northants Combination Premier Division side Spratton.

And Rushden & Higham United were also big winners as they thumped Peterborough Sports Development 6-3.

Goals from Ben Aiducis and Jack Dyson put the Lankies 2-0 up before the visitors pulled it back to 2-2.

However, the Lankies pulled away thanks to Ryan Cormack, Gav Wills, Dyson and Thomas Martin before Sports grabbed a late consolation.

Irchester United’s hopes were ended as they went down 3-1 at home to Division One rivals Sileby Rangers.
