Rothwell Corinthians struck late to secure their first away win since returning to the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division.
Ryan Goodband was the hero as he grabbed the only goal of the game to seal a 1-0 success at Peterborough Northern Star.
Desborough Town suffered a 4-0 defeat to Northampton Spencer at the Waterworks Field as the visitors picked up their first victory of the campaign.
Curtis Avery and Ryan Dove gave Spencer a 2-0 half-time lead and Dove added the third before Luke Stone’s goal wrapped things up.

Lewis O’Dell gave the Lankies the lead, only for Jack Wisniewski to cancel it out before Jedd Whiteman’s penalty put Thrapston in front before the break.
But O’Dell equalised on the hour and the hosts won it thanks to Liam Carter’s own-goal two minutes later.
Irchester United twice came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw at Oakham United.
Robbie Pearce opened the scoring for the hosts before Ryan Lovell made it 1-1 on the half-hour.
Oakham regained the lead through with 16 minutes to go thanks to Lewis Leckie but the Romans sealed a point courtesy of Nathan Heycock’s goal.
Whitworth suffered a sixth successive home loss in all competitions as they were beaten 2-1 by Bourne Town at London Road.
All the goals came in the second half as Tyler Sculthorpe put Bourne in front but Luke McDonald equalised soon after.
However, the visitors took all three points thanks to Harry Dunn’s 70th-minute penalty.
Burton Park Wanderers’ poor start to the season continued as they suffered a sixth defeat in as many outings.
Potton United won 6-1 at Latimer Park thanks to Kenny Smith (2), Joe Jordan, Adam Marsh, Nathan Field and Stuart Gillies while Tom Bird struck for the hosts to make it 2-1 at one stage.
