Diamonds added three new signings to their ranks last week with Huntingdon Town captain Declan Rogers, Neil King and Luke Fairlamb all joining the club.
Berwick confirmed he did speak to Diamonds recently about a possible move and while that wasn’t possible at the time, he insists he would still be willing to talk to them.
“There have been several comments made in the past few weeks that aren’t true,” Berwick said.
“I had spoken to Diamonds a month or so ago about a possible move but they weren’t in a position to make me an offer.
“It might sound strange but it would be a good move for me at the moment. I feel like I could offer them something different than what they already have.”
