AFC Rushden & Diamonds switch their focus to the NFA Hillier Senior Cup tonight (Tuesday) as they take on Brackley Town at the Dog & Duck (7.45pm).

The quarter-final clash will see Andy Peaks’ team take on a Brackley side who have Rushden & Diamonds legends Jon Brady and Darren Collins as manager and assistant-manager.

Diamonds moved three points clear at the top of the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division at the weekend after a 2-0 victory at Sleaford Town.

Peaks’ men, meanwhile, have been handed a trip to Hullbridge Sports in the second round proper of the FA Vase.

Diamonds enter the competition at this stage having reached the fourth round last season when they were beaten 2-0 at home by St Andrews.

The tie at Hullbridge will be played on Saturday, November 22.

Rothwell Corinthians could move into the top five of UCL Division One this evening.

They take on local rivals Burton Park Wanderers at Sergeants Lawn, looking to maintain a six-match unbeaten run in the league.

Corinthians won 3-0 at Corby S&L Khalsa in the NFA Junior Cup at the weekend while Wanderers were edged out 1-0 at Whitworth in a league game.

Raunds Town, meanwhile, will be looking to get themselves back in the hunt at the top end of the table when they head to Bourne Town.

The Shopmates were held to a 3-3 draw at Bugbrooke on Saturday.
