AFC Rushden & Diamonds claimed the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League double after they beat Potton United 3-0 in the Knockout Cup final at Yaxley.
A crowd of 785 were on hand to see the Premier Division champions become the first club to pick up the double in 23 years.
Diamonds took the lead late on in the first half when Matt Gearing scored direct from a corner and they wasted little time in doubling that advantage in the second period.
Just 17 seconds after the restart, Tom Lorraine made it 2-0 when he converted Gearing’s pass with the aid of a post.
And the victory was secured on 58 minutes when Scott Joseph struck from close-range to ensure Diamonds wrapped up a superb season.
