Clarke is after the good side

Matty Clarke is hoping the good side of Rothwell Corinthians is on show when they take on struggling Potton United for the first time this season.

Corinthians suffered a 5-2 home defeat to Sileby Rangers last weekend before producing what Clarke described as “our best performance of the season” when losing 2-0 at St Neots Town in the last eight of the Hinchingbrooke Cup on Tuesday.

Joint-manager Clarke said: “We have gone from the ridiculous to the sublime in a matter of days.

“It was a massive disappointment for everyone last weekend and we looked like a different side on Tuesday.

“If we perform like that then I would expect us to win.

“But we have to eradicate this inconsistency.”

Corinthians will be without the suspended Tony Ielapi for tomorrow’s game.
