The midfielder left the club just before Christmas due to issues out of football but is now back at the Dog & Duck.

Quigley was one of Diamonds’ star performers during the first half of the season, scoring five goals from midfield.

A statement released by the club today (Tuesday) said: “Over the last few weeks it has been clear that Dan has spent his time out reflecting and comes back with renewed vigour and enthusiasm.

“The club and Andy (Peaks) are committed to helping Dan with his issues and will provide any support he needs.”

Boss Peaks added: “I was really gutted when we had to let Dan go because he is a good player and a nice lad, but we have had a chat and he feels with some help he can move forward.

“I am delighted to give him the opportunity to do so”

Quigley is set to make his playing return for the club at the Dog & Duck tonight as he will be included in the squad to take on Brackley Town in the semi-finals of the NFA Hillier Cup.
