Hill is set to continue between the sticks for the remainder of the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division campaign after it was revealed this week that Walker will miss the rest of the season because of a blood clot in his calf.

The news about Walker came at the same time as it was confirmed that Elliot Sandy had been released by the club.

Law believes he has two good goalkeepers at his disposal and he has already made it clear he wants to keep both at the club for next season.

“It’s a massive blow for him (Walker) and a massive blow for us,” the Poppies boss said.

“It’s very frustrating because there is clearly a very good goalkeeper in there.

“The important thing for Paul now is focusing on being ready for the summer.

“Craig is another good goalkeeper who hasn’t let us down and I am already looking at having both him and Paul competing here next season.

“Paul has got that extra bit of experience that does show sometimes but Craig continues to prove he is capable of being very good for us.”

Kettering’s league encounter at Redditch United, which was postponed due to a floodlight failure on Monday this week, has been re-arranged for Monday, April 18 (7.45pm).
