Shawn Richards is back at AFC Rushden & Diamonds – just three weeks after he left the club.
The winger, who impressed for Andy Peaks’ side during his spell after signing from Stamford, departed to join Rushall Olympic at the beginning of March.
However, first-team opportunities have proved to be “limited” and he is now back as Diamonds bid to end their run of four successive defeats and get their promotion challenge back on course in the Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central.
Peaks said: “It’s great news for us as Shawn is already known around the place.
“He found his chances limited at Rushall and as he is dual registered with us, it was an easy decision for me to have him back.”
Richards will be available for this Saturday’s home clash with Northwood, which is the first part of an Easter double-header for Diamonds as they head to Arlesey Town on Monday (3pm).
