Corby Town will have to play their abandoned clash at Truro City again in full.
The Steelmen were leading 2-1 in Cornwall thanks to goals from Wilson Carvalho and Elliott Chamberlain on January 10 when the floodlights failed with just four minutes of normal time remaining.
A war of words between the two clubs followed with Corby claiming there was still enough daylight remaining at the time to complete the fixture.
The Southern League board met to discuss the matter yesterday (Thursday) and it has now been confirmed that the game between the two high-flyers will have to be replayed in full before the end of the season.
It is a decision that will likely infuriate Steelmen boss Tommy Wright, who had been vocal about his belief that his team should be awarded the three points.
It is understood that Corby will have the right to appeal the decision made by the Southern League.
