Corby Town have signed experienced striker Francis Green.
The 32-year-old, who had a spell with the Kettering in 2009-10, was a free agent having recently been at Hucknall.
He will bring plenty of experience to the front line having also had spells with Peterborough United, Lincoln City and Macclesfield.
And boss Chris Plummer said: “We are happy to have Francis with us.
“He is very experienced and will provide some know-how in the final third.”
Green is set to go straight into the Steelmen squad for Tuesday’s trip to Harrogate Town after their game at Vauxhall Motors on Saturday was postponed.
In a further boost for the club, goalkeeper Paul Walker has been called up to the England C contingency squad for the ICT game against Turkey.
The call-up is recognition for a number of fine displays from the young stopper this season after he joined Corby last summer.
