Gary Mills believes the signing of Stefan Moore is “huge” for Corby Town.
The Steelmen boss made his move for the experienced frontman, who has signed on loan from Vanarama National League side Solihull Moors, following the 1-0 defeat at Stourbridge on Monday night.
Moore brings a wealth of experience to Steel Park having started his career at Aston Villa before having spells with Chesterfield, Millwall, Leicester City, Queens Park Rangers, Port Vale and Walsall in the Football League.
In non-League circles, Moore has been a prolific striker and has scored over 180 goals during spells with the likes of St Neots Town, Leamington and Brackley Town.
Steelmen boss Mills said: “I am absolutely delighted to be able to unveil Stefan as a Corby Town player, this is a huge signing for the club.
“He has a reputation for scoring goals and brings huge experience with him from his football career so far.
“This signing shows great intent and I would like to thank the board for backing me to make this addition.
“Having Stefan around will provide a huge boost to both the fans and the dressing room.
“His experience will also be vital in helping with the development of our academy players.”
