AFC Rushden & Diamonds have completed the signing of midfielder Ben Ford.
The 22-year-old has signed in time to be part of the Diamonds squad to take on Coalville Town at the Dog & Duck in the first qualifying round of the Buildbase FA Trophy tomorrow (Saturday), subject to his registration being ratified by the Northern Premier League.
Ford joins Diamonds from Chesham United, where he made 16 appearances after joining them in September last year.
Ford, who can play anywhere across the midfield and also at left-back, began his career in the youth set-up at Rushden & Diamonds before he joined Kettering Town where he featured in the top-flight of non-League football.
He went on to have spells at Nuneaton Town, Hinckley United, Bedworth United, St Neots Town, Biggleswade Town and Arlesey Town.
