Corby Town have signed former England midfielder Lee Hendrie.
The 36-year-old has agreed to join the Steelmen along with his younger brother Stuart and Loughborough Dynamo right-back Kalern Thomas.
Hendrie, who made a solitary appearance for his country against the Czech Republic in 1998, has recently been playing for Tamworth where he was a team-mate of Corby’s new joint-manager Tommy Wright.
He is best known for a 13-year career with Aston Villa, for whom he made over 300 appearances, since when he has also played for Stoke City, Leicester City and Sheffield United among others.
The trio are all available for tomorrow’s trip to Mickleover Sports in the FA Cup.
