Bones kitted out for new campaign

Rothwell Town have announced their new major sponsor for the 2004-05 season.

Their backing is coming from Pino Plant whose owner Pino Collona (pictured second left) presented treasurer Keith Panter and manager Dave Williams with a shirt emblazoned with the company name.

The deal has completed a good week for boss Dave Williams who has also managed to finalise his back-room staff.

Iori Jenkins comes to Cecil Street as the reserve-team manager and he will be assisted by Peter Bell. Meanwhile Mick Collier has taken responsibility for the youth team.

The appointments have enabled Williams to concentrate on getting things right for the kick-off against Evesham on August 14.

He explained: "I'm pretty pleased with the way things have worked out. With everything in place now we have a good set-up that makes us look like more of a force.

"We've qualified people in the jobs and I'm especially happy to have Iori here because he has an excellent pedigree in both playing and management.

"When you have the off-field bits sorted it means you can just get on with making things right on the field. We are all very happy with these developments."

Any youngsters wanting to join the Bones youth team can come to training on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
