Elliot Sandy has agreed a deal to remain at Kettering Town.
The frontman confirmed on social media this morning (Thursday) that he will be staying at Latimer Park for the forthcoming Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division campaign.
Sandy returned to the Poppies at the end of October last year and went on to score 16 goals as he played a crucial role in the Division One Central title success.
It was revealed earlier this week that striker Dubi Ogbonna is also set to remain at Latimer Park with an option being taken up on his contract.
And, despite a number of other members of the title-winning squad having already left, Sandy now looks set to remain at Kettering to work under new manager Marcus Law.
The Poppies boss said: “We have agreed a deal with Elliot.
“Everyone knows what he is capable of and I am sure he will be ready to show that again during next season.
“The important thing with him is that he is experienced and he knows the level we are going into.
“That experience and know-how will be very important to us.”
