Kettering Town have signed young Birmingham City full-back Perry Cotton on a youth loan deal until March 27.
The 19-year-old has been at the Sky Bet Championship club since joining their academy in 2006.
He has progress through to the under-21 side at St Andrew’s and has made eight appearances for the Development Squad this season.
His first venture out on loan looks to be as a direct replacement for Liam Bateman after the Kettering full-back was ruled out for up to four weeks with a hamstring injury.
The news of Cotton’s move was announced by Birmingham today (Tuesday) ahead of the Poppies’ Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division clash at Slough Town this evening.
