Thomas Baillie is hopeful of adding a further fresh face or two to Kettering Town’s squad for the run-in.
The Poppies are involved in a battle for the Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central title and will continue their quest when they take on struggling AFC Hayes at Latimer Park this afternoon (Saturday).
Claudiu Hoban left the club to join Corby Town this week while Jon Bukasas has signed for Sileby Rangers on a dual registration.
The Poppies responded yesterday by adding former Southampton midfielder Joe Curtis, who is line to feature today.
But joint-boss Baillie has revealed the club have further transfer targets.
“We are always looking and there are two players out there who interest us,” he said.
“The deadline for signing players is coming up and we are keen on those two.
“We will have to wait and see what happens and develops.”
The Poppies, meanwhile, have confirmed their home clash with Egham Town will have to be re-arranged again.
The two clubs were due to meet at Latimer Park on Tuesday, February 24 but the match will be switched again with Egham now in Red Insure Cup semi-final action at Poole Town that night.
