Kettering Town claimed their third draw in four games in the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division as they fought back for a point at Bedford Town.

There was nothing in it in a goalless first half in front of 538 people at The Eyrie.

But it was the hosts who broke the deadlock just before the hour mark through Nick Beasant.

The lead only lasted five minutes, however, as Omar Beckles brought the Poppies level.

It means the Poppies are now on minus seven points in the league table, having been handed a 10-point deduction for entering a CVA during the summer.

Poppies starting line-up: Walker, Ifil, Radford, Palmer, Gerring, Beckles, Blazio, Burns, Mayo, Byerley, Bonnett-Johnson.
